INNA

Inna teaches contemporary dance with a focus on foundations, not just choreography, but understanding how and why movement works. Her classes explore how to use the floor as a partner, how to work with body weight, and how to better understand what your body is doing.

Her music ranges from Alt-J to The Chemical Brothers to global modern hits.

Her classes are described as challenging, playful, unpredictable, and fun. Students leave feeling more grounded, more physically aware, and usually smiling.

What is Contemporary Dance?

Contemporary dance prioritises quality, dynamics, and expression over fixed form. It draws from modern dance, release technique, and improvisation, but isn't locked to any one tradition.

At Gravity, contemporary goes deeper than choreography. You learn the how and why of movement: how to use the floor as a partner, how to work with your own body weight, how to move with intention rather than just direction. In a schedule built around street styles, it's the class that asks something different from your body.
